11th Apr 2023 onwards

Until the end of October 2024, the section of Botley Road that passes underneath the rail bridge near Oxford Rail Station will be closed to motor vehicle traffic, including buses. The following services are affected by the bridge closure: BROOKESbus400/U1, city3B, city4A, connector 33 and Thames Travel 63/63S. Full details can be found using the link below.

Temporary Stop Suspension Osney Island

11th Mar 2024 onwards

Due to Thames Water works on Botley Road, the Osney Island stop towards the City Centre will be suspended until further notice.

A temporary stop will be in place just before the pedestrian lights, and signs stating where will be published in the area.

Roadworks on Cowley Road/Manzil Way

14th Jan 2025 - 30th Apr 2025

Between January and April 2025, there will be ad hoc roadworks on Cowley Road, these should not affect any stops but temporary traffic lights will be raised occasionally, as such we expect delays when this occurs.

Magdalen Street East closure

28th Feb 2025 onwards

Due to an emergency closure of Magdalen Street East from 28/02 until further notice, our services will need to divert as follows:

City6 services towards Oxford will divert via Beaumont Street, Hythe Bridge Street, Park End Street, and George Street to Magdalen Street West. Services towards Wolvercoat will commence the regular route from Magdalen Street West.

Park&Ride 300 services towards Readbridge will divert via Beaumont Street, Hythe Bridge Street, Park End Street, and New Road, where services will be picking up at the D2 stop. Services will be using the normal route towards Pear Tree.

ST2 services towards the JR Hospital will divert via Banbury Road, Parks Road, and Broad Street, where they will pick up from stop W1, then resume the normal route. Services towards Wytham will divert via Broad Street, Banbury Road, St Margaret's Road, and Woodstock Road.

Services ST1 and 46 diverting due to Donnington Bridge closure

20th Aug 2024 onwards

We have received notification from Oxfordshire County Council about an emergency 7.5T weight restriction being imposed on Donnington Bridge starting 20/08/2024. To reflect the above, ST1 services will need to divert via Iffley Road and the Eastern By-Pass until further notice. In addition, the 46 service will need to divert via Iffley Road in both directions until further notice.

During this time, the ST1 will be unable to serve the following stops in either direction:
Redbridge Park & Ride
Canning Crescent
Weirs Lane
Donnington Bridge
Townsend Gardens

In addition, the following stops will not be served by the 46 in both directions:
Townsend Square
Donnington Bridge
Weirs Lane
Chatham Road
Lincoln Road
Lake Street
Newton Road
Whitehouse Road
Police Station

Beggars Lane stops in Southmoor temporarily suspended

5th Feb 2025 - 8th Apr 2025

Due to roadworks, the Beggars Lane stops in Southmoor will be temporarily suspended until 08/04. Temporary stops will be provided in close vicinity but in the meantime, passengers are advised to use the Latton Close stops.
