Fare changes from 1st January 2023
From this date, there will be a minor revision to some fares on Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel services.
Changes to park&ride tickets:
As our service patterns to/from Oxford’s Park&Ride sites have changed, our dedicated park&ride range of period passes and multi-trip tickets has become less relevant. From 1st January 2023, these tickets will therefore be withdrawn.
As an alternative, passengers are advised to check out the cityzone ticket, which covers all Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel bus services within Oxford. More information on the range of cityzone tickets and how to purchase them can be found here.
The new park&ride combined parking & bus tickets, as well as Singles and Returns, are unaffected by this change; this specifically relates to period tickets and multi-journey tickets. Find out more about park&ride ticket options here.
New 'Early Bird' tickets:
New ‘Early Bird’ Concession Tickets will be available for anyone with a concessionary pass to purchase at times when they can’t use their pass for free travel.
This will initially only be available for journeys wholly within the Oxford cityzone area at a flat fare of £1.50, and journeys that start within West Berkshire (between Streatley and Purley-on-Thames) at a flat fare of £2.00.
You could be eligible for a free concessionary travel pass if you're over 65! Find out more here.
From this date, we will also be making some changes to tickets on the airline coach service. You can find more information on these changes here.
