Bunny hop trail around city centre returns this Easter
3 days ago
Curious young explorers can bag themselves some Easter goodies during the school holidays in April as City Sightseeing Oxford’s popular Bunny Hop Trail returns for a second year.
Six elusive bunnies will be playing hide-and-seek just waiting to be found across different locations on City Sightseeing Oxford’s open-top bus tour.
The trail is free for all sightseers with a bus tour ticket and will operate from Saturday 5th until Monday 21st April, and is suitable for families with young children.
Families begin the tour by collecting an Easter-themed trail card and map from City Sightseeing’s Oxford Visitor Information Point on High Street, or from its Gloucester Green Travel Shop, ticket sellers, or bus drivers.
From there, the map will guide families past Oxford’s historic sights, where children can search for each of the six bunnies and collect stamps on their trail card. Once all the stamps are collected, participants can collect a prize at the Visitor Information Point until 5pm every day.
Luke Marion, Managing Director of City Sightseeing Oxford, said: “Our Bunny Hop Trail was a huge success last year, so we’re pleased to bring this activity for families back to Oxford.
“Insights from our tour guides coupled with the fun of the trail and an opportunity to explore the city’s top attractions guarantee a great day out for all the family.
“More than seven million tourists visit our city each year, many travelling from the other side of the world to sample sights we as locals might sometimes take for granted.
“We’re proud to be recognised as one of the best city tour operators in the world by TripAdvisor and are continually exploring ways to bring Oxford and its culture to life in all seasons.”
City Sightseeing Oxford has also partnered with The Story Museum as part of the Bunny Hop Trail. Families who show their trail card or map at The Story Museum’s café on Pembroke Street can receive a 10% discount on all items.
