A Letter From The Founder...

"My roots are found in Albania, where for generations my family would make wine. Watching my family's process I have learned a lot which has sparked my passion in the art.

I came to England over 20 years ago when the opportunity came to purchase the perfect field to plant vines and make wine. Sunnyhill Vineyard benefits from good weather and is south-facing so the vines see the sun all day long.

We decided to plant Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier to make English Sparkling Rosé in the traditional method, as well as Rondo for red wine and Seyval Blanc, Phoenix and Orion for white. These are beautiful grapes that we want to keep as pure as possible throughout our process.

All of our products are organic and natural. We are committed to producing organic fruit without the use of any chemicals, pesticides or additives.

(This gives our wine the special ability to not produce hangovers and headaches the next day)

We believe that this results in a more natural, healthy and sustainable vineyard producing a better quality of fruit and wine.

Our wines are made in the purest possible way resulting in a taste which is very different from commercial wines.

We also make organic Sparkling Cider (sweet and dry). We collect apples locally, only picking organic apples and making the most of what nature gives so nothing goes to waste.

My passion is to make wine, working in harmony with nature. This way, it is better for us and better for the planet."
