17th May

Enjoy the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Museum of Natural History after dark in this water-themed joint Late Night!

Follow their special water trail to find favourite water-related objects chosen by our Visitor Services team, meet artists and researchers and find out about water issues in different societies, including South American birds and featherwork, Evenki diver birds, women as carriers of water and water-borne diseases.

Listen to the sounds of the rain forest, including Bayakan rain-drumming, in a specially-composed sound track using material from the sound archives and handle objects related to water from the handling collections.

Then wander the galleries, enjoying a drink from the pop-up Tap Social bar!

Free but booking required - book your free place here.
