The biennial Dorchester-on-Thames Festival is one of Oxfordshire’s leading Festivals and is based in and around the stunning location of Dorchester Abbey. The Dorchester Festival takes place this Spring, 3rd – 12th May, with an amazing collection of over 50 events packed into just 10 days at Dorchester Abbey. 

The festival has regularly attracted over 3,000 people each year, from serious followers of the arts to schools, families and children of all ages, and has raised significant profile and £250,000 for Dorchester Abbey and local charities.  

Come and hear The Tallis Scholars, practice the art of Bonsai, sing with John Rutter, race ducks, find scarecrows, become a Lego Master Builder, join a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and much more. 

The festival takes place this Spring, May 4th to May 9th with over 50 events in 10 days.
